Howard Forums Member limborepublic has trouble dancing under the bar on this one.Based in the UK, limborepublic writes that his OS.67-powered BlackBerry Pearl stopped receiving emails about an hour ago. (I know that's a T-Mobile BlackBerry but that's how email looks on any Pearl.
"It just stopped receiving mail, even though it was still polling/searching and half a dozen mails arrived on my desktop," he writes. "I hadn't changed any settings - or even touched the thing, and the only way I could fix it was by turning it off and then on again, at which stage it worked just fine."
But limborepublic is not happy with those results. He's traveling (hmm, maybe to a warm tropical republic where they do the limbo?) Regardless (sorry, irregardless ain't no word) of whether or not he is traveling and where, the turning off and on is a bother, brother.
Ho-Foer gibbs thinks he may have the answer.
"It sounds like a push problem - did you check the settings under the routing tables to make sure they're correct?," gibbs writes. "Did you accidentally disable the email delievery to your phone through the BIS portal?"
Well, looks like the situation is still in flux.
Nope, didn't change, or touch, anything!
"It seems to be working now, but two test mails I sent last night haven't arrived on the Pearl, although they have on the desktop" limborepublic writes. "I need to be able to trust this thing."

1. I had a similar problem happen to my T-Mobile 8700 on Dec. 8th. I was on the phone all day with Blackberry Support and T-Mobile support and even my email provider. No one could figure out why I wasn't receiving email. All my setting were fine. That ended up being my breaking point with T-Mobile. The next day I switched to Cingular and purchased the Pearl. No problems since.
